Wilcox Wildcats collect 164 toys for Toy for Tots

December 16, 2021

In this season of giving, the H.C. Wilcox Wildcats came together to collect 164 toys over a seven-day period to benefit the Toys for Tots organization. The H.C. Wilcox National Honor Society students organized a competition between the thirteen trades to make this drive successful. Each trade had seven days to collect as many new, unwrapped toys as possible. On the final day, three trades in particular showed their holiday spirit: Automotive Technology; Hairdressing, Cosmetology, and Barbering Technology; and Health Technology. Ultimately, Automotive Technology was triumphant and won the competition. But the real winners will be the recipients of the toys. The H.C. Wilcox National Honor Society members are very excited to engage in this meaningful service activity to benefit the greater New Haven community.
