Senior Designs New School Logo

Alanny Perez, a senior in the Graphics Technology trade was selected to design the new Wilcox Wildcats logo.  Alanny began her design process by researching what wilcats looked like, specifically the way the ears pointed. She made multiple thumbnail sketches of her ideas and gained feedback from her teachers and peers. Alanny stated she combined the WT logo and the wildcat several different ways to finally decide on her final presentation.

Alanny enjoyed her time here at Wilcox and liked the “production” side of the trade which involved quick turnaround times for designs and the printing process. Meeting deadlines was and can be stressful but Alanny is prepared to continue in her trade after graduation.  She enjoys the design process and was excited when her wildcat logo and other designs were chosen by the Wilcox community. The new wildcat logo is being used on the new exploratory t-shirts, uniforms and athletic apparel.
