Students Earn the Seal of Biliteracy

The Connecticut Technical Education and Career System is excited to announce the implementation of the Seal of Biliteracy for the school year 2023-2024. The seal shows a student’s language proficiency in both English and a second language. Upon completion of the graduation requirements,  the Seal of Biliteracy will be placed on the students’ diplomas and will also be noted on their transcripts, which will be sent to colleges and universities. This designation will also award students with 2 World Languages credits.  CTECS’ grades 10 – 12 students are eligible for this exciting opportunity.
