CTTECH Month Senior Spotlight

Jasdeep has been working for McCann Systems, a digital networking and media company based in Wallingford. His current position FAE Apprentice (Field applications engineer) has allowed Jasdeep to gain real world experience and training in the computer networking field.

Jasdeep’s daily schedule varies he says, but most recently he has been completing onsite work, learning how computer networks transmit audio and video onto large multiplatform screens. Jasdeep has designed conference rooms, large platform LCD screens (think of Times Square or local venues with multiple screens).  “I have gained important life skills, working with a collaborative team and maintaining customer satisfaction” Jasdeep stated.

Being able to utilize his certifications obtained at Wilcox and being offered a work based learning position has allowed Jas to make money while in school and will be helpful when he pursues his college degree next year.
