Holocaust survivor visits students at H.C. Wilcox Tech
On October 30th, seniors and their teachers attended a special presentation by Holocaust survivor Ruth Lichtenstern, otherwise known as Tutti, and her daughter, author, Heidi Fishman. Ms. Amann met Heidi Fishman this summer when she and Ms. Scalia attended the Belfer National Conference for Educators. After the whole-class presentation, featuring Tutti’s story and Miss Heidi’s research, Ms. Amann’s ECE students participated in a Book Club meeting with the two Fishman ladies.
