Thirty of our most respected 11th grade Wilcox students became Senior Mentors following a Restorative Practices style training on Thursday, Friday June 15.
They will guide 9th grade students about “The Wilcox Way”
The Goals of Senior Mentorship include:
- Creating a sense of connectedness between new students and the Wilcox Community
- To discuss the differences between middle and high school
- To help students understand The Wilcox Way
- To help students understand what they need to do to succeed here
These students were nominated by staff and selected based on their applications as well as individual qualities that make them natural influencers in our school.
