It’s important to give students a chance to interact outside of the classroom and extracurricular activities and organizations are a great way to do that. Wilcox Tech has a wide range of options including Student Council and National Honor Society.
Current Clubs and Activities
Selection of the National Honor Society candidates begins sophomore year. To be considered, students must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 95% or better. Candidates are also rated by faculty on leadership, character and service.
Members take an active part throughout the school year ushering at school events, selling refreshments at school activities and night school and offering extra help to students having problems with studies, while also maintaining their grades at the same time.

The Student Council represents the voice of the students in the democratic management of student affairs at Wilcox Technical High School. It is the organization through which the administration, faculty, staff and student body cooperate in addressing the concerns of the school.
Membership in the student council is a privilege and responsibility. The selection of Council Representatives and Officers is a serious matter, as these people affect matters of vital importance to all students. Representatives to the council are elected in September.
