After competing against the best students from across the nation, our state champions demonstrated exactly why they earned their chance on the national contest floor. Dan Garcia placed 19th in the nation in Automotive Refinishing Technology. Dan earned his skill connect credential, an industry verified assessment of the student’s career readiness and employability within the trade. Angel Barba placed 5th in the nation in Graphic Communications. Also earning his skill connect credential.
Competing against students coming from all 50 states and U.S. territories is no small accomplishment.
These students have come an incredible distance, and their success reflects the collective efforts of our entire school community. Congratulations!
