STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) offers an opportunity for teaching the inter-relationships of how subjects relate in real-life. Teaching through STEAM can be enjoyable and meaningful for the student; while engaging and deeply embedding concepts through project based learning. This workshop will show you one of the ways you can use STEAM style teaching in your classroom while we combine a Math lesson with an Art lesson.

Kailey DePonte wrote an article about her experience with the project here.
